ONE OF MY CHILDHOOD HEROS TOO. I had a CHILDRENS BOOK ON THAT GUY ONCE too as a kid.

Definitely one of my childhood heroes as well. In case you haven't read it, you need to get The Rocketeer: The Deluxe Edition, the re-issue of the original source material. It's very similar to the movie, but there are some differences. It's a must-have book. It was issued in 2009, a year after The Rocketeer's creator, Dave Stevens, had passed away.
