Description
Rookies are tasked with navigating a maze in the underground catacombs within 5 minutes to save 2 of the 3 dolls. The three dolls represent: Your character's partner, a Human Leader, and a Tribe of Demons.
Rules:
Things Fletcher and Dante didn't mention but are useful to know:
- Due to the collapsing building scenario, your first party will not sustain damage.
- Your second doll will be badly injured from fallen debris in the scenario. This means if your character saves their partner doll second, they will get a "nice" surprise: They'll get shocked when they grab the doll enough so that they'll probably end up with a mild burn. If they are an electric demon, they'll have fire spit out at them or something to a similar effect. The other two dolls do not have this effect.
- If your character's partner doll is not saved at all, Fletcher will most likely knock them on their ass with a bit of wind when they cross the finish line and yell "DEAD" at them.
- The maze itself has low quality florescent lighting (dim lights, flickering lights, etc.).
- The maze has no obstacles. It's just you, some hallways and those dolls.
Assignment: Complete both of these tasks to receive credit.
- This is a SOLO assignment
- Illustrate your character in any phase of the catacombs maze task. Your illustration must depict your character holding a doll at some point.
- In the description of your assignment, describe, using no more than a few sentences for each, who your character saved and why even if you put the reasoning in the illustration. If your character didn't manage to finish the task, explain why they weren't able to do so.
- Collaboration is not allowed.
Due at the end of rank up period (which is currently TBD!)

So it's just a maze, sans obstacles? Or is there some virtual sim of the building caving in (besides the electric shot)?

In order for each doll to be considered safe, does the start line have to be crossed each time with the doll, or just crossed once at the end of the task?

Each time. Your character can't just try to lob the doll over the line before they go get their next doll. They have to physically pass completely over the line with the doll.

In the scenario, they would die if they were still in the maze and they'd probably get chewed out by Fletcher.

Out of curiousity: Does this mean wind demons or any flying types can simply hover over the maze and pick dolls out from there, or is that plain cheating?

The catacombs do have a ceiling (since they's underground) and the dimensions of the ceiling are given in the rules (12ft). I realize now I probably could have depicted the catacombs overhead shot a little better but the ceiling is NOT open. It is closed.
So no. They can't do that. Pretty much anything else is fair game though.
