Description

Not great, but I had fun making them. Some 'vees I created for a sprite-comic I intend on making. Non-finalized, I have some other ideas I might go for instead of these designs, but I feel they turned out good. Only ones I'm not completely satisfied with are glaceon, espeon, and jolteon.

I'm making a sprite comic because I want to tell some stories, and I want to make a comic. I'm using pixel-art because that's quicker, easy (to me), and I'm the most comfortable with it (been my main form of art for several years). I might transition to more traditional digital art later on in the comic, but I'm just starting simple.

The characters depicted from left to right (not finalized) are as follows.

Matthew: An intelligent, geeky eevee with a name given that doesn't traditionally fit her gender. She's always a bit bold and stubborn, but generally means well. While actually quite smart, she does try to keep up an "intellectual" appearance, trying to seem more correct, mysterious, and eccentric than she actually is.

Volco: Big heart, big paws, big personality. She's loud and proud, always willing to have fun. Loads of energy and optimism to go around. She can be a bit dumb at times, but more than makes up for it in confidence.

Skylar: Sassy, speedy, and absolutely obsessed with cooking. She cares a lot for her family, frequently staying with them despite having officially moved out years ago. She tries to keep her energy down when need-be, but it's always hard. She'll be professional during a job interview, though it can't be promised her paws won't be tapping rapidly under the desk.

Hydra: Once being rough-and-tumble, brash, and extremely proud, he's since been humbled a bit after losing an eye in an accident. While he's more mellowed out, his old fun-loving self hasn't gone anywhere. He'll still hop into any random fight he sees, and he takes great pleasure in grossing people out by taking out his glass eye. Whenever he goes sailing with his best friend, Captain Charles, he'll insist on talking like a pirate and wearing an eye-patch.

Jack: Well-toned fellow, and Skylar's go-to workout buddy. He takes pride in being powerful both physically and mentally, always happy to show off. People frequently misinterpret his bravado as him being a rude jock-type, but he's in reality kind and understanding to most he meets. "A little ego never hurt anyone," as he says.

Sally: Laid back, and cool with everyone. She spends most of her time relaxing with friends when possible, though usually won't shoot down an opportunity to get up and help with something. She works on being kind and understanding, but she's a bit socially inept at times so it can be a bit difficult. Her temper's a bit short. Her response to conflict is usually to take a deep breath and walk away, even when it's the worst possible decision.

Sunhat: A friendly guy all around, but can come off as a bit of a creep. He spends his time hanging around with any and everyone he can, trying to be friends with everyone. He tries especially hard to be friends with people he doesn't like, as to not appear biased. He generally maintains a smug and flirtatious demeanor, though usually knows when to drop it. He's bad at receiving compliments, never knowing how to respond, and has a lot of trouble helping people when they're upset. Despite being a leafeon, he chooses to stay in the dark when possible and wears a hat to block out the sun.

Chloey: A bit of a stuck-up snob sometimes, but means no harm by it. She holds herself and all around to high standards, despite them often being unreasonable. Despite her difficulties, she's not that bad once you get to know her, some would say. She works night-shift at a sandwich shop, usually on staff with her co-worker, Dan. She hates existing for about a three hour period after waking up, but chills out eventually as the day goes on.

Candy: He's shy, wry, and a pretty cool guy. He's a sylveon with love to spread to everyone, with not enough confidence to actually do it. He longs for the day he can go out and hug, nuzzle, kiss, and cuddle everyone he sees on the street. Unfortunately for him, that will never be socially acceptable, so affection-starved he remains. Jack and Volco are two of his best friends, who frequently meet up to try to help him with his confidence issues.

None of these characters are completely finalized or fleshed-out, these are just basic overviews. No, eeveelutions won't be the only main characters. Not even all of these ARE main characters.
