Description
Because Diva Humon is such a great diva, I just felt a terrible urge to draw a little something related to her Danish household.[link]
Ladies and gentleman, give it up to Romania!
A lot of people like to talk shit about this little country of ours, associating it with gypsies, corruption, Dracula (Damn you Stoker!), beggars and the such, without actually knowing ANYTHING about us. I found that wherever I go, I'm accepted and welcomed with love, which changes the moment I dare to take out my now infamous red passport or mention where I come from. Which is quite offensive and not just because I'm not even Romanian by nationality!
Székelyföld/Ținutul Secuiesc/Seklerland: The lone wolf of the pack, and married to Erdély. Rarely talks, and is a hard worker, used to the harsh mountain environment he's living in. While he loves his beautiful wife, he has an extremely hard time expressing his feelings. The others know him as an exceptional drinker and a guy who *always* carries a pocket knife. His most important asset is his love of freedom.
Erdély/Ardeal/Transylvania: The beauty of the land. She has everything from tender mounds to beautiful forests. Married to Székelyföld, she laughs at her husbands stubbornness which she doesn't always understand. She is the kindest of all, the most multi-cultural and open-minded. Her most important asset is patience.
Partium/Partium/Partium: Living by the Western border, she is a great friend of neighboring Hungary, open-minded and prone to changes. Married to Bánság she is the one who speaks Romanian and German the best of all. Her lands consist mostly of plains. Her greatest asset is open-mindedness.
Bánság/Banat/Banat: He is a fun guy, who always appreciates a good joke and an even better meal, and is married to Partium. He has a strong German heritage and together with Partium he makes up the most open/minded couple. His greatest asset is tolerance.
Moldva/Moldova/Moldavia: Is the most religious of all. The others often joke about her praying on every saints day, which is well... the every other day. She is a sweet lady who is known for her hospitality and love of life, and is married to Havasalföld. Her greatest asset is faith.
Havasalföld/Țara Românească/Wallachia: Home of the government, he is the guy in charge and has some deep issues with Székelyföld with whom they ardently hate each other, often hurting poor Erdély during their many fights. On another note, he is known for his carefree attitude and love of a good time. His greatest asset is his love of a good time.

You made a big deal out of the open mindedness of some of the 'people', right after you made a point of insulting gypsies. That's... yeah, that's questionable. I like Transylvania, though.

Btw. the 'insult'came BEFORE the explanation. Also why is it insulting that I say that Romania gets to be associated with gypsies? There are commas in the sentence for a reason mate...

I didn't insult gypsies or anyone else. I said that if you look into the world news what you get about Romania is other countries (mainly France and Italy) bitching about Romanian gypsies and what they do or don't in there. So many people who don't know this country think everyone from here are beggars and burglars and such. It's mainly from a simply missunderstanding. The other word for gypsy is "rrom"or "romani"so many foreigners immediately associate Romania with this minority. So much so that just a week ago three Romanian students got arrested in Paris for owning iPhones. [link]

The women from Ardeal have different traditional wear? That doesn't look like the Ardeal area to me...

Transylvania has many traditional wears. The Romanians might have different wear, we Hungarians have ours. Actually this is from the Kalotaszeg (Țara Călatei) area, one of the most oppulent of Hungarian traditional wear. Here are a few links for you to see:
