This is my contest entry for Shiny Pokemon FTW 's Monthy Theme Contest!

Okay, so: as soon as I read the theme, I knew I had to enter. This poster is kind of a mash-up between WWII-era propaganda posters and Pokemon lore, which is something I thought I'd never say in my lifetime. You might notice the Johto legendary beasts in the background of the poster if you look hard -- that's important! My idea was that those are the shiny versions of those legendaries, leading the way to revolution through a self-assembled army called The Confederation of Difference!

One of the facts on that poster is true; the others are intentional hyperbole to stir shiny Pokemon into joining the revolution. When picking the Pokemon I was going to draw, I went through the whole shiny Pokedex and wrote out a list of Pokemon that were mostly blue or red so they would match the palette. Oh, and the spelling of colours is intentional: I'm British! I thought since I was basing my poster around old war propaganda posters that the British spelling would be rather fitting.

Anyway, I'm so glad this one is over and done with! I'll be uploading the clean version shortly. Viva la resistance!
