Nice! Little details like the idea of the "deed for life" and the maturation cycle of the everglow fruit help distinguish the race and make them feel unique. That's exactly how all the most interesting races are designed.

Now that is an awesome design. 
I really like the concept of the different philosophers leading to different groups. The thought of the war treating the atheists as their foreseen enemy is... fitting, actually.

They're about the same size of humans height-wise, but from chest to tail-tip about 7-8 feet long. So not too big. The War Bound are a bit bigger, only by a couple feet. And have more "bulk" to them.
