I've really been wanting to do a big proper Autumn aesthetic piece for my girl inspired by this song and I ACTUALLY DID IT WOW

Originally I was going to do the entire thing in SAI.. but yall know how much trees scare me so I downloaded a bunch of my favourite sexy PS brushes and did most of the background in Photoshop! I have 0 confidence when it comes to painting backgrounds so. Thank god for PS brushes.

A lot of my background help/insp came from watching Over The Garden Wall while drawing this, which is one of my absolute FAVOURITE cartoons and has some of the most gorgeous art and backgrounds. This image in particular was a great reference and a huuuge help. ;u; I sketched and lined the characters out first, then did the background, then coloured/shaded the characters and added extra effects.

I love my Hazel so much, she deserves only the best. she inspires me and makes me so incredibly happy every damn day, this was the least I could do for her. Her new fox fursona is the CUTEST and is sooOO fun to draw!! She suits Fawn (oh my my coywolf sona's name is Fawn now LOL) quite well too which makes me very happy.
