Description
This is my submission for the group and their prompt "Let the story begin!"
As you may be able to tell from the title of the prompt, the theme was to do a picture that's a scene from the beginning of the story, like an important event or characters interaction.
And of course, Dark Nic showing up was a pretty important interaction I think. 
I am finally getting the hang of CLIP Studio paint too I think. Especially the assets. But this one was a lot of fun and I've never done a something like this before but I think it's one of my better ones in terms of poses and composition.

The title is fitting, for it signals what awaits Nicolette. Her journey will be a challenging one, not unrewarding but a great challenge. She will have to face a great darkness that could consume her and even everyone she loves.
But I know your Nicolette is strong enough to triumph.

Well, I wouldn't say it's rewarding in the traditional sense of the word. Something does get taken from her...But she does end up overcoming it in the end.

THESE COVERS ARE JUST MIND BLOWING! You did an AMAZING job on this! I love the juxtaposition, the dark colors, EVERYTHING! The hair on these two is just amazing! This would be a great cover for any collection of Black Rose!

Haha, I don't think that sounds weird at all! I don't draw legs too often because I so seldom do full body drawings and all my girl characters wear dresses anyways

OMG that is amazing and I love the contrast of characters~! I love the background and how it looks shattered, the dark and light concept again is always nice, and the nice dress compared to Lotti torn and tattered one really sets the stage of how different both are~!
