My contest entry for 's Pikachu contest.
I don't know what I was thinking. To me, he looks kind of .... plain?
Plus this is my first time drawing a pikachu so.... I suck
Any who, I threw in a quick background explanation just in case.

Team rocket is known for various devious acts. Raiyu was part of their "counterfeit evolution stone" projects. Team rocket wanted to make counterfeit evolution stones that look and seem like the real thing. After many failed attempts the project was discontinued. However while the experiment was active many stones were faulty and caused partial evolutions. Sometimes partial evolutions caused genetic imbalances restructuring the pokemon differently. Due to the incapability of some of these partial evolutions some pokemon um.... died? (God dam it! I didn't want to say that!!! T_T ) Raiyu's partial evolution was not too extreme and as a result now has a left Raichu ear and the tail of a Raichu. However the partial evolution caused a slight genetic imbalance in his tail tip leaving it permanently metal. (Not to mention in the shape of a scythe!)

Having a scythe on his tail Raiyu can be deadly since his hands are free to do other things. However if need be Raiyu can wrap his tail around his arm/hand and make his tail scythe hand weapon. On the right are his supposed back markings. (Feel free to change if it's too simple)

Shredded cloak
Satanic pentagram/stars on cheeks (might have to redo that since it looks like a regular star)
Chest fur is slightly lighter than body fur
Black sharp patterns on legs
Scar/Tatto on eye

Btw.... because he's not 100% Pikachu and has some Raichu parts does that mean I'm disqualified? Because if he is I'm keeping him!

P.S. The name is subject to change if you don't like it
Although according to my sister who knows japanese Raiyu can mean many things depending on how you read it.
