She fights out of a gym co-founded by her mom, who doubles as the boxing and kickboxing coach, and a family friend, who handles the wrestling and MMA theory. Both of them are former pro fighters intent on shaping Simone into an elite fighter, whether she wants it or not!

Simone's a striker at heart and has been throwing punches since she could walk. Kicks followed shortly afterwards. She's eminently dangerous on her feet but much less fond of the grappling bits, or working in the clinch.

She's considered boxing or kickboxing instead of MMA, but Mixed Martial Arts is paying her college tuition for now. But if the right offer came along though, who knows?

I really liked 's style, and asked them to draw Simone "Slick" Waterson, budding MMA fighter and the character I'm most fond of right now. I'm still nailing down Simone's specifics, like complexion and hairstyle, but hey, this means I get to see a few cool artist's renditions, right?
