Series of portrait studies made for the monthly challenge. Theme for August is portraits, hopefully I made it just in time. XD;

All made 2h per painting and are in the order from left to right, top to bottom.

First one of the bunch was a hard one, probably wasn't the best to start out with... Beards and clothes, oh and hands too, my arch enemies haha. Had fun with all the colours though. The last one was quite a challenge because I underestimated them. So many shades of violets and grays, dang. And somehow painting ladies is easier, or it least it feels like it. So, need to practice more guys. Overall, quite happy with them but I can work on my shapes a bit better and improve overall anatomy. And I need to work on clothes very badly.
