Her laugh. Her smile. Her childish antics. Her smile. Her dances. her singing.

Over the years of knowing each other, you bonded with her. She was the one who invited you to the crystal gems.

You protected her when she needed it. You danced with her all the time. You comforted her. You helped her feel stronger.

Her presence was all you needed.

But one thing was in your way from getting her affection. She loved someone else, the leader of the Crystal Gems.

Rose quarts.

She followed Rose everywhere. Gave Rose her precious smiles. Fused with Rose. She showed Rose her childish side the most. Laughed at everything Rose said.

She loved Rose.

She loved Rose instead of you!

It angered you seeing Rose's 'godly' presence. She was there to be around all of you. The Crystal Gems adored her presence, I didn't.

I pretended to love Rose like everyone else but, I felt pure hatred toward her. I only did it for her, and only her!

She took everyone's attention. Everyone worried for Rose.

I didn't give a shit.

She took what was mine. She took my world away. She took my life away.

She took Everything.

Then one fateful day, everything changed.

A human from the mini town outside the base came over the fence. He took Rose's attention away, it made all the Gems upset.

Besides me of course.

I was delighted that someone took Rose away, that meant I get my precious Pearl's attention again.

I went outside one day to find her, I know she comes out to look at the ocean sometime.

Just as I thought, she was outside sitting near the shoreline crying.

Sitting beside her, I ask her what's wrong, even though I know why she was crying.

" Oh (Y/N), I can't believe Rose picked Greg over us, over me!"

"Shhh, it's okay Pearl, we'll make it through this, it's probably just a phase"

I knew it wasn't a phase, Rose was hooked on this human but, for Pearl, I'll pretend.

"You think so?" She asked with tears brimming her eyes.

" I know so" I lied

Leaning into my arms, she buries her face into my shoulder and breaks down, putting her arms around my waist. Carefully brushing her hair, I smile in happiness knowing she was mine. Finally mine.
