SORRY IT'S SO HUGE! T3T;;; (and for any typos ~.~ Im to friking lazy to fix any of them now, so...just ignore them for the time being)Weii! So, the day before the Deathly Hallows came out, I was getting my stuff together to go to the ball as Luna Lovegood - but I didn't have a wand! I have two sets of drumsticks, so I was going to use the thinnest one, but Mom suggested chopsticks - and then it came to me!
I grabbed the chopsticks and began to sand them down to make them perfectly round (they were the kind that are stuck together that you split before using
) but then I remembered the skewers we have. Soooooooooo the magic!It turned out wonderful and everyone at the ball was asking me where I got my wand >3< so so proud
It think it's a very simple tut, easy to follow and you can have fun with it. This technique could work for other props as well

The part where it says "Do be careful where you stick your wand and the accidental spells you may cast" Made me chuckle, being that my wizard character carries his wand behind his ear xD

i would really appreciate a pg-13 friendly version of this so I could do it with my little cousin. He likes to read instructions, and there's a few 'bad' words in there.

Lol yeah but I dyed it back to dark again, didn't want to bother with bleaching my roots all the time - it's so annoying!
You can find TLS next to the sculpey/fimo other clays and tools, they're about 7$. Michaels Crafts, Jo-Ann's Fabrics both sell them.
