I don't remember reading that part in the Guide, but I guess that could be because I paid more attention to Benjamin and Tia's story. You should so do something with them. They are just so CUTE!

I always let my vampires blush because they have enough residual blood inside them to allow them to do so. (BUT MOSTLY BECAUSE IT MAKES THEM LOOK CUTE.)

And Aro would be like BUT WHYYYY ARE YOU SO UPSET OVER YOUR MEAL THAT I PREPARED ESPECIALLY FOR YOU? and Carlisle would just glare at him and then he'd dig out his Bible and read the Lord's Prayer and then he'd not speak to Aro for the rest of the week and Aro would just pout until Carlisle apologized and then they'd hug it out.

AHAHAHA, EXACTLY SO. Carlisle would probably be too embarrassed to divulge too many details. He just says he has the utmost respect for them and leaves it at that.
Yeah, I feel like Carlisle might have at least thought about being a pastor at some point, even if his father did sour him on the whole vocation a bit. And, of course, Aro would just make fun of him for thinking vampires had souls that needed any religion. HAHA. I just love that such different people can be best friends.
