I can never find the right key to this door...

Amazing...I never thought something I wrote would inspire anyone ;_;.  I am the original author of SCP-004.  Unfortunately, everything other SCP I have tried to write has been a failure.  But I am happy to see the first one I wrote be so well received .

This is great .  Thanks for this!

For what it's worth, I love your scp. Inherently it's kind of simple, being a door with some keys, but how you expanded it, is creepy and I love it!

I really wish I could write another like it.  So far my other two were torn to shreds in the sandbox of the SCP-Wiki.  I have a third that I almost don't want to share because of fear of rejection.

The expanded part of the story (about the lock box) was added by another forum member actually .  I can't take credit for that part.  But I liked it a lot too.

Fair enough. I'm no artist, or writer, or...anything really, but I try not to have fear of the opinions of other people. So I say, go for it anyway!...then my own best friends think I'm weird and a loon, but they're weird too. So all is good.

Weird people like us are the one's who make life interesting.  It's not that I care about their opinions, it's just how cruel they can be.  If they were constructive about it, it wouldn't bother me so much.

Oh glad you like it! You know I really think it's a great skip!

Thank you .  One day I hope I write another one that ends up with this much acceptance.  I put one up recently, but no one really liked it.  It was probably too technical and not really menacing.  But neither is Josie the Half Cat .

You know I think the Foundation has moved past from that area where article Josie the Half Cat succeed… many skips now have development and heavy plot within them… I can't really put it into words but the tone has changed a lot.

But still I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with its not being menacing. This hasn't changed…

This may seem like an odd request, but would you consider reading my new SCP?  Maybe you can help me turn it into something better?  I would hate to be a one hit wonder.

Well I don't think I'm good at writing SCPs. There are plenty more experienced people can help you in the forum!
