Mi-sook is the boss of the Ogbaem Mafia. She has an alliance with the Tojo Clan thanks to Kozo Sasaki, KajikoKylance 's OC, and Kiryu befriending her in Y0.

Kiryu is her love interest, but the two are idiots and don't realize they love each other until Y5 or Y6 probably.

She's a heavy smoker and drinker because it's how she deals with stress and her traumatic past.

She gets a gray streak in her hair when she's older.

Right after Y0, she gets married and has a son named Ji-hoon. Her husband was killed and Ji-hoon was heavily injured by the Geulimja, the Ogbaem Mafia's rival organization. This causes Mi-sook to fly into a rage and kill all of the Geulimja members, earning the Ogbaem Mafia a ruthless reputation.

She loses her leg the same night her husband is killed while being tortured. She has a prosthetic leg and walks with a cane now.

As a child, her parents were killed by the Geulimja as well.

She was raised in Daegu, South Korea, by a Korean father and a Chinese mother.

Her jade earrings were a family heirloom.

She is trilingual: she knows Korean, Chinese, and Japanese.

Because of her own Chinese roots, she sympathized with Tachibana in Y0 and he was a trusted friend of hers.

Her lipstick was a gift from her late husband.

She has nicknamed her cane "Baem-chan" in order to make the snake's face seem less scary to kids.

She loves visiting the morning glory orphanage. Kiryu loves it, too.

She's an awful cook. Kiryu likes to tease her about this because she didn't even know how to chop vegetables.

Ji-hoon is her treasure. His personality is similar to hers at times, but he has most of his father's carefree attitude. He's a lot more serious since he watched his dad get killed right in front of him and was tortured, but he also has a soft spot for kids like his mom does. He is 17 in YK1 and 30 in Y:LAD since he was born in 1988.
