It's been a few years since I made Star and I wanted to redo her ref!Here's the lovely lady herself, with her new full name and now a filly version!
TITLE: Taken from Better in Stereo, the theme song for Liv & Maddie, as Morgan and I associate the song with Star and her twin sister!

Star Chaser is a daring filly known for her love of adventures. She loves to try new things, even if she knows she'll hate it or if there's a risk she'll get hurt. She is a bit of a trickster, loving to tease her friends and family lovingly. She dives headfirst into danger, even taunting the world to come and hurt her. Of course, she is sure that the danger is minimal at worst before challenging herself, not willing to let her or her loved ones get hurt because she's a little devil. She is a ball of energy and quite the speedster. She isn't as loud and outgoing as her twin, often letting Melody speak for her, but she is significantly louder and bolder than Fluttershy, and more down to earth than Zephyr. She can be a bit quiet, especially when she first moves to Ponyville, almost never speaking unless she has to. She's jumpy and easily frightened, jumping at every unexpected noise and not really trusting anypony who "randomly" befriends her. She does eventually get better with trust issues!
Ponies tend to assume because of her personality, she is a very impatient and irresponsible pony much like Rainbow Dash, but she is the opposite. It takes a lot to discourage Star Chaser. Repetitive failures mean nothing to her, she just rolls back over and tries again. She tends to not care much for her own injuries, always downplaying them, even as a very young filly. She has a love for nature and animals. She is very calm and easy-going, more of a go with the flow kind-of filly. She's kind of the butt of the jokes within the CMC, with them always lovingly teasing her and such. She takes it easily, knowing there is zero harm behind their words.
As a teenager, she becomes more sassy. More confident in herself, she has no issues in retorting the teasing jabs the CMC give her. She loves the four of them dearly, and gives them the same energy they give her. She has a sharp tongue and can easily think of retorts on the fly. She also becomes a massive flirt, particularly with Sweetie Belle. Their relationship is strictly platonic, despite what the entirety of Ponyville thinks. Once they finally convince Ponyville they're not together... They end up getting together, so the flirts and such become more sincere.
Star Chaser, at her very core, is a selfless and curious mare with no regard for her own health. She is a risk-taker and determined to a fault. Once she starts something, literally only death can stop her, and even then, her spirit would continue out of sheer spite. She would do anything to save the life of someone, from a tiny rabbit to a complete stranger. She thrives under pressure and dives into danger even more than before. She is a sly and calculating mare, knowing how to escape dangerous situations and how to trick others so she (and others she may have with her) can get out unharmed. She has a strong sense of justice and will always stand up for what she believes is right. She fakes having the confidence of the most successful spy, but most of her confidence is simply a facade. It's not that she isn't confident, it's simply that she cannot show her fear. She is very grateful to live the life she does. She is very passionate and vocal in what she believes in, particularly animal rights.

Bio:
Star Chaser was born to Pegasi Sunrise Sorbet and Stratus Rainstorm one fateful day one hour before her twin sister, Melody Cloud. The family had recently been through a devastating loss seeing as Stratus' mother has just recently passed so having the two foals seemed to change things for the better, especially since the twins were practically joined at the hip, the definition of inseparable.
Except, growing up, Star... Well, Star didn't truly feel like herself. There was always something different about her. She didn't like being called a colt, didn't like being referred to as "bro" or introduced as "brother." She hated it when others used "he" and "him" for her. Trying on hair clips with Melody was always really fun to her and her sister, even if the other foals at school laughed and made fun of her, saying it was girly and that no colt should wear dresses, ribbons, makeup, etc. They were relentless, occasionally even getting physical. They even laughed when Melody stood up for her, saying she needed her sister (a filly, how weak) to fight her battles. It came to the point where the bullying was too much and she moved to Ponyville to live with her eldest sister and start at the school there since she felt unsafe and scared of going to the Cloudsdale school. Melody joined her, refusing to leave her alone. Melody had also gotten her fair share of suspensions for getting into fights with Star's bullies, so the adults figured a fresh start would be the best option.
Moving to Ponyville truly made Star's life better almost immediately. She befriended three fillies with her sister, who dubbed themselves the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Melody was still waiting for her mark, but Star never particularly cared, so she didn't join the group, just tending to follow them around for something to do. She eventually befriended Strawberry Taffy, a filly who worked in Sugarcube Corner.
Soon came the day where Spike was left with the pets of the Six. She tagged along with the fillies and dragon just so she wouldn't be alone, and she ended up with a big surprise that left her stumbling for a lie. She had noticed one of the animals in trouble and shot towards it, saving it, and when she landed, cradling the animal in her arms, she was tackled in a hug by her twin, who was excited beyond words. Star had gotten her cutie mark. She was actually embarrassed and used her tail to hide it soon after she got it. Her family and friends were beyond happy when they saw her. She was excited, sure, but having a mark meant having a cute-ceañera. Having a cute-ceañera meant everyone’s eyes would be on her. She’d have to wear a tux, she’d have to be a perfect little colt, and she wasn’t! She wasn’t a colt at all. Besides, she wasn’t trying to get one, why did she but not the CMC? She was grateful the Equestria Games delayed her cute-ceañera. Still, the day of her cute-ceañera, she came out to her twin sister in tears, hiding away in her room, refusing to go to her own cute-ceañera. She explained why always felt so off: She wasn't a colt at all! Just a filly born in the wrong body. Melody Cloud accepted her with ease. It was with her twin's help that she was able to come out to the rest of her family and friends, who were truthfully surprised, but accepted the young filly. It was a struggle at first, getting used to the name "Star Chaser" and referring to her as a filly, not as a colt, but any misgendering and deadnaming wasn't intentional in any way. They were trying their best, and Star appreciated that greatly.
Star Chaser began helping out at Fluttershy's sanctuary, still hanging with her friends as well as the Cutie Mark Crusaders. She tried to be there for Melody Cloud when the yellow filly was going through her cutie mark troubles after the CMC got their marks, but she was pushed aside. This is what confused her, hurting her since she and her sister had never... Ignored each other before. Still, she helps Melody with whatever she needs and is delighted when her little sister receives her cutie mark. The crusaders even help Star reconnect to her own mark later down the line, making her realize she isn't solely meant to care for animals, she's meant to be free, travel around and be with animals, learn about them and protect their habitats.
In her teens, she and Sweetie Belle begin a platonic flirtatious relationship. One thing led to another during a celebration party for the Unicorn's new album when they were 16, leading to Sweetie Belle telling Star a few weeks later that she was pregnant with her foal. The two keep it hidden to the best of their ability, but when Sweetie starts showing, there's nothing they can do except tell their families and friends. A year later, the seventeen year olds welcome newborn filly, Sugar Plum Dance, into the world. Teen motherhood is rough, but the two wouldn't trade their daughter for anything, and if they happen to fall in love while raising her, well, isn't that interesting?
Star becomes a mix of the next Daring Do, exploring the world and going on crazy adventures, and the Kratt brothers/Irwin Family, bringing awareness to certain animals and just making the world a better place for her little friends. She travels to places to teach others about animals and to make places better homes for them.
Sweetie and Star fall in love shortly after Sugar is born and marry soon after.
Cutie Mark Origin:
Star Chaser received her cutie mark in season 3. She saved Angel Bunny from falling from a great height and received her mark for it. At first she thought her mark just meant caring for animals but she had always been fascinated with Daring Do and didn’t want to spend her life in one place caring for the same critters, as much as she adored them. She loved the thrill of adventure as much as she loved being with creatures. While on a quest to get something for the sanctuary, Star injured one of her wings and was left unable to fly allowing her to explore on hoof and meet the creatures. She continued her adventure with them and even brought some of the ill or injured ones with her to heal and learn more about, and that’s when the CMC helped her realize that her mark represented her love for adventure as much as it did caring for animals.

Trivia:
- Has a pet fruit bat named Peach! It's a Kiwi Fruit Bat, so the name is a bit ironic. She later gets a Peach Fruit Bat for Sweetie Belle named Kiwi. However, Peach is not her only pet, and she in fact has several, most of which can be considered unorthodox. Not like snakes or pigs or something like that, I'm talking fully like basilisks and cockatrice and things of that nature.

- Whenever she gets really excited she’ll flap her wings. Not like she’s gonna fly, more like how people flap their hands when they’re happy? Hummingbird vibes I guess
- Has the same “speaking to animals” ability as big sis Flutters! Except she likes to use this ability to troll and will “translate” what animals say, sometimes to insult others. With Angel though, no one knows if it’s really what he said or if it’s just her fucking around
- She plays it cool, but being a teen parent stressed her tf out. She was already ridiculed for being trans (especially a trans mare that likes other mares), and now she had to deal with the judgement teen parents got? She acts like it doesn’t bother her, but she’s very affected by the comments.
- She’s very loving and caring but she also won’t hesitate to sock a bitch in the nose
- Sweetie Belle is shown to be a dumbass and I think that Star would find it adorable. Mainly cause she’s also a dumbass. But they’re also both very smart!
- When Sugar Plum was born, Sweetie and Star both made bracelets of their daughter’s mane colors.
