Midna Marie is the mother of Link and Sydnei. Link and Sydnei, the only two Wolfbred born alive in the last 25 years, are her puppies. She got to meet the Queen and King of Hyrule at Hyrule Castle during the de-exile process. Her husband, Ordon Imperial, got to serve the Queen as her bodyguard, and her son serves the Princess as her bodyguard. Near the end of the Exile, there was a trend in Hateno to give children names from the Era of Twilight. Therefore, she is Midna, her husband is Ordon and her son is Link. (Also named Link because he was the first pup born in the tribe in over ten years) Her daughter, Sydnei Imperial, was born after the Exile ended and Midna decided to give her a more Hylian sounding name due to being Hyrulean citizens again after 10,000 years. She dropped dead when Sydnei was 2 and when Link was 10. It was... a very startling and dramatic departure from the world. Her greatest regret in life is that she couldn't get away from her son before passing away, as the trauma from witnessing her sudden death strengthened his hatred towards non-Wolfbred Hylians. It is believed that her cause of death was genetic, which casts a potentially grim future on her two children. Midna Marie was the village's songstress and historian, and led all of the rituals for the tribe.
