I always thought that a cool story for Unity would have been Shay taking in Arno out of guilt for taking his father away from him and decides to raise him as his own son in Versailles and eventually training him so that he can one day join the Templars. But the twist here is that Arno winds up joining the Assassins after learning the truth behind his father's death and like Shay, Arno starts hunting down the people he once called friends and possibly even family

I thought that originally Élise was gonna be Shay's daughter. So maybe if they included it, Élise's father could've been her adoptive father, as Shay's business with the Templars was so serious.

It was indeed Ratonhakéton's wife and himself (Connor, son of Achilles, was 6 when he died). As for Ratonhaké:ton he was still alive in 1804 (which is after Unity), but we do not know anything after that. But yeah, it seems our Connor was killed offscreen...at least Edward died in a novel. XD XD XD Shay will probably die offscreen too, or "better" we won't know anything after that.

Where did you hear this? Are you sure your not thinking of Connor Davenport and his mum Abigail Davenport. If not then he died quite young since he was only 12 years older than Arno Dorian and is about 20 when you first play as Arno. During the revolution Connor would be from 33 to 43 years old. After looking at your reply, I looked into it a bit more.

I just finished this game, and I freaking love Shay!! His speech at the end almost make me forgot that he just murder a father of a child(nothing personal, kido.)
