They don't wear mask but the janissaries have a variety of uniform colour types, I presumed they would be:
Red - Standard
Green - Standard
Blue - Standard
Black - Presumed to be an high commanding officer or an higher up officer

There are reenacters but the Janissaries themselves were massacred by Mahmud II after they became a sort of Praetorian Guard.

Oh really? But I found it very beautiful. (And I like Tudors too, though just watched season 1) Cause I don't understand those dialog(except Şehzade, sultan and other simple words XDD), all I can do is just enjoy the image, those people, their clothes and so on, those gave me reference to make my comic story.(And I began to ship Suleiman and Ibrahim XDD) Becides, I watched Fetih 1453 several days ago, it's sooooo magnificent!! I have waited for it for so long time, and it didn't disappoint me.

Actually i didn't even try to wathc it You can't know what shit happens it Türkiye last times(is it true "last times" i don't know ) in here they want to separate the people with religion and with other things and that movie was just a little that game And funny part, our movie's budget about 17 million dolar, [link] and this clip took 24 million dolar its not a underestimation by the way

What a pity I can't visit Youtube. But I think it's that WIP clip I watched in China which shows how to creat some huge scenes in this movie. I love it ^^
