Savir is a sleazy salesman turned serial killer - but for the sake of brevity, let's sum him up as an outlaw.

Many people used the words scoundrel or vagabond in their guesses.

Savir has an incredible singing voice, though.

Savir & the women around him.

  Yes, Savir has a very bad reputation... He's crude, rude, and has violent tendencies. The woman before him is just doing her job, poor thing. The one whispering is warning the other gal about him. And the witch in extreme shadow sees what a disgusting fool/convenient tool he is...

Stuff on the table:

  The booze (he drinks it). The gun (he uses it). The cards (he gambles with) - The Devil (he is one).

The intense shadows are intentional to invoke a sense of dread. Bad omens are abound, and this shit is gonna get dark.

Appearance

  Savir is 5'6" / 168cm. He has a square face, square nose, upturned eyes (amber), and chin-length hair (dark teal). Thick eyebrows. Thick sideburns down his cheeks and a "soul patch" under his lip. Dimples on both cheeks, very prominent when he smiles or frowns. Ear lobes are gauged(~12mm). Broad and stocky body type; muscular, a bit hefty. Lots of body hair. Many tattoos.*

Savir is an asshole. He can be charming when he tries, though I'd say he's just gross and arrogant. Doesn't hide his emotions at all and can be extremely moody, changing in an instant. Short tempered and violent, restless all the time. Defnitely has a Napoleon complex. Pushes limits constantly to see what he can get away with. Crude, rude, and totally sexist. Disrespectful towards women, but in turn is easily manipulated by them. A hedonist to his core. Always puts himself before others.

Backstory

Born and raised in a country commune deep in desert canyons, Savir comes from a family of ranchers who work the land and raise livestock on the outskirts of the community. 1 domineering mother, 6 children: older sister(35), Savir (31), Avani (27), 3 younger sisters(13). Savir wanted nothing to do with the women, so he and 'Vani spent most of their time far away from the homestead. Thus dubbing them the Faraway boys.

The slow country life bores him, and he looks forward to it every year when Market season rolls about. This is when a caravan of men travel to the cities to sell and trade supplies. Avani and Savir run an artisan cart, selling all kinds of trinkets carved from bone or wood. Jewelry, puzzle boxes, fancy weaponry, instruments... Savir is the salesman; he mans the front and draws in the crowds, while Avani is the artisan who crafts the goods. They're members of the same caravan that Salim & Kado are a part of .
Savir finds his thrills in the city and makes the most of it during their time there. The noisy ever changing scene and grimy atmosphere suit him well. Thrives in the anonymity it offers as well - no one knows you or gives a shit about you. It's a great change from the small community he came from.

The Guess Who takes place on a fateful night, as Savir's whole life changes after the scene depicted there. Everything shifts overnight and the brothers find themselves displaced from their comrades in order to hide a stolen prostitute...

Lots of shit happens, but at the end of this market season Savir and that prostitute switch places - she goes back to the commune with the caravan, while he stays in the city. )

I'll be digging into his story around here this round. Exploring how he adapts to living in Ragnarr, and addressing some things that make him turn from a marketeer to a murderer. Stay tuned!
