"Also, ff anyone has ANY tips of how to capture the moon without over exposure, BUT still take a long exposure of the water at the same time - please tell me! "
Grad ND Filter
It's a beautiful scene.

Your image is just fine. You can try to eliminate the bright glow around the moon (which is caused by light passing through water vapor or ice crystals) by the following technique:
Start the day or so before a full moon in order to get enough light from the setting sun to get detail on the landscape. Have the location and camera position all planned out. Use a tripod. Check your focus. Use ND filters up to ND14 to allow about a 30 second exposure of the moving water (less time if the aperture is more open). Without moving the camera, make a second image of the scene without the ND filters and the shutter speed adjusted to properly expose the sky and moon. Combine the two identical (although "bracketed" images) in a photo editor such as photoshop.
It should come out sharper and better than this [link] .
Take plenty of shots, bracket your exposures and keep in mind the moon is wicked bright and moves fast! In the winter you will freeze your trigger finger off and in the summer the mosquitos will be merciless.

Yea what cameraguyy said, or if you have photoshop you can take a separate photo exposed for the moon, then blend it with the long exposure for the water using layer masks

Beautiful capture. Try using a few strong graduated nd filters.
