Portrait for a friend.Heavily inspired by Marta Nael and her digital impressionism technique. Tried to use traditional techniques too, like painting in thick layers of oils. Fun stuff!

On a side note, I tend to make things harder for myself. I mean, if someone asks for my help, it seems I can't refuse, even at the cost of my own well-being. Maybe because I'm a Jedi, and Jedi are selfless. That's a lame reason, though, because the guy who said that became a fucking Sith Lord. Just letting it all out here, move along.

I swear, you get better at drawing women with every post. the colors are unconventional--but they work! This piece has me thinking about make-up brands and modeling photo shoots.
