I'm not terribly familiar with the creature's anatomy, and might be looking at it all wrong, but that left arm appears to have two elbow joints, or one REALLY long wrist!

So it was a wrist! XD Espeon's inwardly bent paw kept throwing me off.
I still like the style you used either way; I think it's great when fan artists take a few artistic liberties while drawing their favorite characters, instead of trying too hard to closely copy the original character's art style; it keeps things fresh and the results sometimes come out fantastic. Your version of Espeon is no exception, and personally, I think your style for Eevee is cuter than the official one!^_~
