Here's a more relaxed painting I started a couple months ago, with the main purpose of drawing a more muscular back - turns out the real struggle was how to draw elf ears from this perspective! It was a cool challenge, though. I used a pretty direct reference for the pose and the hands. Forgot the name of the transmog unfortunately!

Thanks! It was a stock photo of a nude woman in this position, doing her hair. I had saved it on my computer, so I don't have a link to it unfortunately. I tried to look for it again to find the original but couldn't find it. If I remember correctly the site had a lot of photos of muscular men and women, bodybuilders and the like. Might have to go look for it with some better time at some point!

And yeah, I rarely use this direct reference photos - most of my pieces are made from a combination of different references, but it's definitely useful for detailed realistic studies.
