The idea is: Rusty is the only Diesel working at The Narrow Gauge and sometimes he thinks he doesn't fit in with the other steam skaters that work there. Because he knows that some Steamers and Diesel don't like each other. He thinks they don't even trust him or even that Rose would like him.
