Left/Right - WalkUp - Jump
Shift - Convert to ragdoll

That's so cool. It would be cool if you can change from ragdoll mode back to living mode.

umm i used flash 8, then i programed my self a physics engine (with the help of wonderwhy-ER for constraints) and then animated a dude with points in the animation on where to connect the ragdoll

Heh. Good one. You just made something many 3D game engines use. Until player is dead his body is not a ragdoll but something more like a box. After he is dead he becomes a ragdoll But i do not like that feature in the games tough

Hmm my way doesnt do it the same way as a 3d game though, in 3d they animate the skeleton then when ragdoll kicks in they constrain and ragdoll the skeleton. my way is just an animation with points to reference where to place the ragdoll when created

And what sceleton is? It is collection of point. More complex thatn in your variant but still.

I just posted my dynamic physics engine if you want to check that out too you can make your own boxes, balls, magnets, ragdolls, constraints, cables, ropes and much more
