Awww, thankyou Anita, I was very pleased with the way this turned out. My son who is studying art and media design let me use his coloured pencils and gave me loads of useful tips . So glad you like it and for the too big thanks

 Oh yeah, definitely.  It's stunning.  How you've drawn the turtle, looks as though you gained confidence with the piece too...it's really nice.  I've had a look at your son's gallery as I read your profile a while ago and you mentioned your son then with a link on here to his work.  His art work is beautiful.  Coloured pencils are great fun to use and you can get so many beautiful effects with them.  I've done the same with my mum when she has asked for advice or feedback on some painting techniques that she's completed before, and drawing outlines (as she prefers to tackle watercolour and she wasn't sure about how to go about the drawing side to the pieces).  I always find that chatting about techniques or different mediums with others is a really useful way to try or find out new ideas and to fuel the creative process ...and most importantly enjoying it all, while giving it a go.  Yes, I really love it.  It's beautiful.  When I looked at your gallery, my eyes focused in on it immediately and I thought "Wow!"  It's my pleasure, and a joy to look at !

 My son has now started his own youtube channel  together with his friend Tobi,  called Blubox.They want to bring Art and media design to a bigger audience. I´m so proud of him, it is very professionally produce. They even got a friend who´s in a band to write the intro music. They have produced 6 video´s up to now mostly in German but some with english undertitles. If you want , take a look. There is a link to chris´s christmas speed painting on my page
