Thank you. Yes it was quite a challenge to draw this animal. My son helped me with his great advice so it turned out very well. This is of course the digitally enhance version which does indeed look much better than the other version, but so glad you like it, thanks for the

Well I have lived here now for 30 years and when I first came over I had a G.C.E in German and had done a refresher course at night school but although I thought I could speak it quite well, I literally spent the first two years just listening to people before I decided to throw my penneth worth into the conversation
I love the German language and as a child always thought I would be fluent one day in another language and there you go, I got my wish

I hope I will become fluent in German. Last year I went to Germany as part of the course I went to Jena and I also went to Berlin afterwards. I liked it a lot and learned a lot from being in a german speaking environment.
I like to use the site DeutschWelle to improve my listening skills as the have the news in german everyday but spoken slowly to help german learners. I read books in German as parallel texts by getting both english and german versions.

Yes it´s always good to keep hearing and reading the language to keep it alive in your mind helps a lot. I am in a position now that when I speak with my mother and want to tell her something that I only know and have heard of in German then I don´t find the right English words, so end up explaining with hand and foot before she understand what I mean

Well it would depend on your tastes I suppose. I have just watched a film by Til Schweiger called "Hönig im Kopf" its about an old man with Alzheimer although quite a devastating subject the film takes a humourous look and is really quite entertaining. I watched it with my Mum and Aunt as they were here visiting and tranlated it all, they too found it very entertaining.
Til Schweiger has also made other films called "Ein Ohr Hase" und "Zwei Ohr Kücken" und "Kokowäääh" He stars in them and his young daughter too. Kann ich sehr empfehlen

I will see if I can get some of these films thank you. I watched a film called Goodbye Lenin for my course by Wolfgang Becker. It was a good film. I liked the documentary series Deutschland von Oben. I think documentaries are easier to understand for some reason.
Heimat is also a seines I will look into.

"Goodbye Lenin" is that about the fall of the DDR and the Boys sick Mother who they didn´t want to worry incase she became more ill. yes I think I know that one too very funny
Is Heimat a series ? I remember watching "Das Boot" as I still lived in England, it´s a while ago though.

yes goodbye Lenin is about the reunification of germany from the perspective of the DDR
Heimat is a series but I have never seen it someone recommended it to me. I have seen Das Boot Sometimes it is hard to understand the sailors as the are often drunk and speak in german.

Ich komme aus Liverpool Uk und wohne seit 30 Jahre in NRW (Nord-Rhein-Westfalen) nähe Köln. Ich mag sehr gern der Deutsche Küche besonders Bäckereien. Brot Kuchen und Teilchen. Was mir nicht gefällt ist die Deutschen Bürokratie alles muss doppelt und dreifach überprüft und unterschrieben bevor es genehmigt wird das is Lästig aber es ist ein Reiches Land und gut organisiert. Überall ist es normalerweise sehr sauber. Manche denken die Deutschen haben kein Humor aber wenn man sie besser kennt ist das nicht der fall. Ich hoffe du kannst alles verstehen. Viel Glück mit dein Deutschen Unterricht.

Danke. Ich finde deoscien verkehrnetz sehr gut in Deutschland man muss nicht lange warten fur einen Zug. Berlin war sehr net mit viel zu sehen.Ich mag die kleine Bäckereien in Jena wo mann Tee und Kaffee trinken Ich will Deutschland wieder sehen. Die Geschichte Deutschland traurig ist aber es ist auch interessant.
I ch habe niemals in Liverpool Gewesen. Mein Bruder war dort fur sein beruf . Er fahrt Überall in England und schreibt Uber die orte das er besucht hat. Ich hoffe ich Nich zu viel Fehler machen. Ich muss Ein Plan Machen fur mein Studium.

Nein Ich habe keine Bücher von ihm je gelesen obwohl ein paar von den Namen kamen mir bekannt vor Wie zB "No country for old men" aber lesen tue ich gern, so danke für den Tip
