As long as you know how to start your comic and how it ends (even roughly), you can begin.
And if you're having trouble writing a scene, or can't seem to get it to work, throw a monkey wrench in it! Don't be afraid to add/remove characters, try from a different angle or even skip/postpone it, if it doesn't feel right.
And above all, have fun with it!

"Meli's Genesis" That's what I would call it
This is truly amazing. It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of the MaiZ comic and its universe and I have seen Meli and Jaz in many different outrageous situations and poses, and sometimes it's great to just regress and go for something simple. An absolutely difficult thing to pull of and you absolutely nailed it. Meli looks great; her posture and facial expression are wonderful. The colouring and shading have that usual signature CrikeyDave style. The lines are gorgeous and have the right amount of thickness that corresponds with each respective part of the drawing. Very well done, my friend! ;D
