Trait1 > Charmer - Like her mother she is tall, dark, and gorgeous, and with the addition of her father's beautiful scales, she has an extreme amount of coolness and confidence in herself. This self confidence leaks out of her and into the hearts of anyone around her, making them likely to swoon unless they are of stronger will themselves.

Trait2 > Quick Thinking - While indecisive in the long term, Chia usually will make a big decision quickly and easily if pressured/given very little time. Another way to think about this is, if in a maze and she was given 5 seconds to choose between fighting a dragonbite viper or outrunning a dragonflame cactus, or she'd have to deal with both, she'd pick the viper.

Trait3 > Intelligent - Both book-smart, and street-smart, she's a clever little dove. She isn't easily tricked and is honestly a little offended when someone tries to pull the wool over her eyes.

Baby Dragonet > At the tender age of 0, Chia hatched as the sole egg of the tall, dark, and beautiful Simmer and her diamond-backed mate, Terrapin, who both lived in the SandWing Capitol. Despite Simmer's cut-throat nature and lack of maternal instincts up until this point, she treasured her only daughter, who had the most beautiful scale pattern she'd ever seen before. While Simmer certainly loved her daughter, Terrapin was more of the stay at home dad type, and did the majority of raising Chia from egg to dragonet. Chia certainly seemed to take a big middle of the road attitude towards both her parents distinct personalities, where she admired her mother's ruthlessness while also keeping her father's benefit of the doubt fresh in her mind. In the times where she would accompany Terrapin to the market, she became fascinated by all the different lives that different dragons could live, and her father only encouraged her to choose anything she liked. She was a bold young thing, and while her father was shopping she was always unafraid to joke and laugh and ask questions with the passerby sellers and buyers, earning her somewhat of a lovable scamp rep there. Asking so many questions and seeing so many types of dragons on their way to see the SandWing queen or do trade with the capitol, she learned quite the way to not only get whatever she wanted, but also go where she pleased and get out of any trouble that came her way! In this manner she also grew to prefer the company of older, more mature dragons for friendships rather than those her own age.

Dragonet > Since Chia was always so curious about what she didn't know, learning all about the lives she didn't have, she had learned well by now that her mother's work as a lawyer was not what she wanted to do with her life, and was also pretty sure she didn't want to stay at home raising dragonets like her father did (she knew how much of a rascal she had been, moons know what a dragonet of hers would be like!). She began to work hard doing internships wherever she could find, at the post office, the doctor's, the librarian's etc. She tried anything a dragon would offer her, for at least a week at a time before she inevitably got bored and wanted to try something new. Her mother, of course, offered an internship at her law-firm, but it was the only internship Chia ever declined. She was determined to go down a different path than her mother, who always seemed so stressed and was never at home for her. Her indecisive yet outgoing nature gave her a lot more worldly experience than the average dragonet her age, and it certainly attracted the attention of Queen Phaedra (or maybe it's more accurate to say she attracted princess Kalahari's favor, in Chia's head) , and she received a letter of recommendation to the University. Chia was certain the university would give her the amount of choice and education that she needed to make the biggest decision of her life, which was entirely what to do with it, so she applied as soon as she got the recommendation.

PARENTS >
   >> Simmer (mother) - A cutthroat and ruthless lawyer SandWing hybrid. Abandoned on the streets as a dragonet, she learned how to be tough and take care of herself, and due to her NightWing blood and being born under the full moon, she's a telepath. This ability helped her get noticed as a rat for the law authority in the Scorpion Den, eventually earning her a place in the SandWing Capitol, so now she works closely with the royal/nobility line and has a lot of influence. Is a bit feared due to her usual "win at all costs" tactics, and her invasive powers, but has a soft spot for her family. She met Terrapin during a particularly stressful case where he swept her off of her feet and showed her a relaxing time on the town. Wasn't super present in Chia's life but she showed up and loved her when she could.
>> Terrapin (father) - Looks much scarier than he actually is. A major big softie and loves kids, he always wanted some of his own. He was happy to stop at just Chia, however. Before he had his own kid he worked at a public park, generally cleaning up. Dotes on his little daughter. Bawled his eyes out when she a recommendation letter from the queen, something about his little girl becoming a woman, and he will miss the heck out of her. Something like that.
