Alright, it's about time I uploaded this. I've been wanting to join this group for a while (the reason why I even made this account) so I now present you with my PMD Explorer Merchant Team, Rags To Riches, or RTR! And yes it does look rushed, and that's mainly because it is. I wanted to try and submit this so I could work on Mission 6 before it was too late, so sorry if it looks a little sloppy. I plan to come back to this one day and remake it when I have time.

Lief the Snivy
Bio: Lief was born into a rather wealthy family in Overgrow City, a city far from Tao Village. At first, Lief was timid and a little shy but his gift helped him get rid of these traits, his "nose for treasure". He had the strange ability to literally sniff out treasure and this made him even richer in the process. Eventually, the town elder decided Lief should see the world and find more treasures to become successful. However, as he was traveling he realized that he didn't care about adventure, what he cared about most was the money, so once he heard of Tao Village and their Merchant's Guild, he set out for the place.

However, as he was traveling, a strong blizzard got him lost and he passed out, but was saved by a family of Quagsires and Woopers. As it turns out, a strange blizzard was in Tao and was spreading to other areas. Lief decided to stay with this family till things blew over. However, his nose for treasure sniffed out something in the swamp where the family lived and set out for it. In the process he awakened a Gyarados and destroyed the swamp, but was able to escape unharmed.

After the incident, he finally arrived in Tao, only to find it was in shambles! PK refused to let him join so as payback, he decided he would steal her stash of money she supposedly had, or what was left of it. He snuck in, got the money, and almost got out scot free when he bumped into Biff, a wooper from the swamp and PK caught him in the act. To make matters worse, Harold, Biff's father, saw Lief with the money and thought he had gotten it to help rebuild the swamp, so he took PK's money. Pk, outraged by the event, decided both Lief and Biff had to work for the guild for free until they paid off the money they owed her.

Lief is a cocky, bold Snivy who usually gets what he wants. This cocky behavior is mostly influenced by the fact he was spoiled as a child and because of his nose for treasure. He doesn't exactly like the fact he's partnered with Biff, but maybe he will soon learn to love the little guy...maybe.

Biff the Wooper
Bio: Biff grew up with his parents Harold and Hilda on the Lilypad Swamp, a swamp occupied by Woopers and Quagsires south of Tao. However, like Lief, he had a gift of his own, whenever someone who he loves or cares about is in danger, he unleashes amazing potential and strength, and was able to save his father in this way from a raging Gyarados. His parents, however decided to keep this a secret from him, thinking that it might get him in trouble.

After the incident with Lief at the swamp, Biff was forced to head to Tao to try and earn money to rebuild it. Harold knew PK from the Merchant's Guild and tried to get Biff in, only to be rejected by PK. Harold was stubborn, though, and refused to take no for an answer and they both waited till nightfall. However, Biff decided to wander around and eventualy bumped into Lief, stealing some of PK's money. After the events that followed, Biff became partners with Lief in the team Rags to Riches.

Biff is a jolly and carefree Pokemon but is also naive and this gets him into all kinds of trouble. He hopes to learn how to make money from his partner Lief...if he doesn't drive the Snivy mad that is.
