Completely forgot to upload this. Niddy once more, fleeing for his life.

The sunlight faded sooner than it should have. The griffin did not notice immediately, but as the wind picked up from the east, it hit him all at once. Pausing, he glanced back over slightly furled wings at the ground he had covered. A vast darkness was clouding on the horizon: an enormous blanket of sand sweeping in and erasing everything in its path. Lightning crackled in its haze, gladly leaping between the particles of grit.

Sandstorms were fickle. One could spring up at any moment, and likewise, could die away in a heartbeat. If he really hurried, maybe, maybe he could outrun this one.

Maybe.
