it reminds me of some horrid stuff on local news :
a girl gets murdered (allegedly) by her lover. then the criminal dismembers the body, chopping her limb from limb, and scatters the remains to different places.

That's pretty gruesome! This image does remind me a bit of the murders in the Hannibal series (as they're strangely artsy, but creepy), though the meaning behind itg is unrelated to any crimes.
