Though in the comics it showed him getting into a cryo chamber. He is only shown to reactivate Chell's Cryo chamber, but there could still be a chance of his survival. This is also made more plausible by the audio clip located in the hidden Ratt den within test chamber 17. The clip sounds like another human voice rambling from behind wall.
