Hyper Tails, just like he SHOULD to be from the beginning, instead the complete absence of an Hyper form for him because his "super" form need to use the 7 Super Emeralds because the only 7 Chaos Emeralds not give to him a Super Form (another of Sega worst errors). Sega should discard the "super" forms that they wrongly made for Knuckles and Tails (that only was the same Knuckles and Tails normal forms without any change to yellow fur and spiked hair; Sega just added a glowing shinnig to their normal sprites, so that are not actually "super" forms, that was an insult and Sega should to amend it and correct it to future Sonic The Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles ports).Related content

idk about you but i actually liked the original design for the super forms... if it wasn't a pulsating color then knuckles who simply be pink while tails would be a golden yellow.

the original designs of "super" forms for Knuckles and Tails actually are not "super", that only was the based normal forms for Knuckles and Tails without any change on their sprites: their hair is not upraised and their fur never get any color change, because that "pink" and "golden yellow" you said are actually just their normal base form colors red and yellow only with a shinning and for this shine is that the red looks like "pink" and the yellow looks like "golden yellow" but in both cases they only have the same sprites and the same color, if this "super" form was also used for Super Sonic's design so Super Sonic should be without raised hair and his fur only will be light blue instead to be golden yellow, so you can se the fact that these "super" forms actually are not true "super" forms, are just FALSE super forms, and for this reason is totally unfair and is necessary that Knuckles and Tails can transform into TRUE Super Forms with true color change to their fur to golden yellow and tru change of sprites to upraised hair version, just the same for Super Sonic transformations, is not too much, just the fair and equal Super Transformations for Knuckles and Tails too (the same that actually Shadow and Silver already has).

Just Because Sonicβs Quills are Spiked up for his super Form DOESNT mean everyone elseβs has to. Look at Silver, heβs quills are still the same, not only that but you DONT have to have a yellow color for EVERYTHING. Then it just looks uninteresting. Having a different color appearance makes the form feel different compared to the others (in a good way that is). Itβs good to see something New and different about something. Β You also Seem to be forgetting that Super Sonicβs design was Heavily based off of Super Goku. Everyone elseβs was Segaβs Own design (Except Shadowβs?).Β

Super Sonic is based on supersaiyans form DBZ so all the characters should be Super as the same style: golden/yellow and with spiked hair; notΒ only Sonic, also Tails, Knuckles, Silver, Shadow, Fang, Bark, Bean,... or do you think taht only Goku sholud be Super Saiyan with yellow and raised hair but for Trunks, Vegeta and Gohan they sohuld be "super" with the same normal/base hairstyle and without any color change to his hair... or worst: PINK (EPIC FAIL!!!!)

the wrong is call it "super" when actually is just the same normal base Knuckles sprite, with the same normal base hair style, with thse same normal red color, the only "difference" is just a glowing shinning and is for this shine that many people think wrongly "pink" is the color for Super Knuckles, actually is not pink and also Super Tails is not yellow, both are just the same normal base forms only with a shinning added, and that is not "super", is just like a "false Super Saiyan", instead the true Super Saiyan form that is the Super Sonic like form, just like Shadow and Silver has, so is unfair that only hedgehog characters become true Super Forms with yellow fur and spiked hair but for Knuckles and Tails they was leaved only with their normal base appearence, that is not Super, the true Super Form should be Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Silver, Fang, all the characters transforming into Super with yellow fur and spiked hair (accept the fact that if Super Sonic or Shadow was just their normal base form without any color change and without spiked hair, only keeping their base color and hair but with a shine, you thinked that was a crap and was not a true Super Form for Sonic and Shadow, so that is my point).

Wouldn't the same be said for shadow then? The only change he has is fur color. If he can have it. So can Tails and Knuckles. There's no need to have everyone have spiky hair or the same color for Said form. And if anything, as far as i can tell, you're too much of a fanboy for the Super Designs. Think it as this, (this is just an example) Imagine knowing that all the characters Super Forms shown so far are nothing but the same, and when a character gets to use a super form for the first time, you would hope to see something Different. I think if Super and also Hyper Tails was decent transformation just like Sonic has, in that case Tails dont' needed to be supported by flickies because a TRUE Super or Hyper transformation has enough power by itself, and as the same case as Sonic, he neither needed to be supported by flickies.

Therefore, Tails utilizing Hyper form won't be that much different, his abilities would be just Super Tails reskinned, that's what i see here in gameplay, it'll look same-y, period.
