Clever Crystal was once a brilliant young stallion. he worked as one of celestias students and soon as one of her lead researchers. He created lots of new spells and technologies involving crystals and crystal structures. but his down fall came when he desired to fly. he created a spell that would allow him to summon crystalline wings but he would need to enchant crystals with dark magic and implant them in his own body. he did and ever since the crystals have started to take over his body and the dark magic his mind. the crystal in his cutie mark grew into a real crystal and more growing around it.
