Shining light is one of the friendliest ponies you can meet! She may resemble her mother(s nightmare moon form) remarkably, but she is nothing like her. She doesnt get upset when ponies stare or point, (or even scream sometimes) when they mistake her for nightmare moon. she'll just wait there patiently with a smile, she knows they'll come around eventually, they just have to see that she's not going to hurt them and they'll chill out a bit, no need to get upset really. Her special talent is making the stars and moon shine especially bright or dim depending on the time and celestial alignments. (or when ever she thinks she can get away with it ; )

she's a HUGE FAN of rock (especially rock opera), you have no idea. all etiquette and gentle nature flies out the window at a rock concert, because nothing will stop her from thrashing, N O T H I N G. (kiss from a rose makes her weep even if it's not technically rock opera but there is this and that's beautiful and totally counts, and nothing you say will convince her otherwise. she heckin loves rock versions of music. celestia bless she sure does love life.    )
