Name: Fading Clarity (nicknames include “Clair”, Fade--affectionately called “Glow Bug” by her bff , Dark Galaxy)

Gender: Female

Breed: Bat Pony

Personality:

At first glance, Fade looks like some elegant creature of the night, a beautiful guardian descending from the clouds.. a wise protector from the stars...

but on second glance...

...she's a bit of a ditz. Many times she flies quickly and doesn't pay enough attention to where she is going. Sometimes she will constantly keep flying into things and crashing into the ground. She tends to have bruises and scrapes because of this.

Clarity hides her loneliness under her bubbly and excitable exterior. And ironically, She's actually afraid of the dark. This isn’t understood by the few other bat ponies that hang around. They can’t understand her love of daylight.

She wants to make new 'normal’ friends very badly. A lot of the time, this leads to mischief on her part. She doesn't mean anything bad, she just likes to liven things up a little. Her pranks are mostly harmless besides giving an innocent passerby a random mini heart attack.

She talks quickly and in a rather high voice. She always is fidgeting, moving around or fiddling with something.

Likes: meeting new friends, Dark Galaxy (her bff), fruit, daylight, talking, flying around, wearing hats and sunglasses, harmless pranks, warm weather, the observatory, annoying Lady B

Dislikes: the dark, having to sit still or be quiet, hates being alone, being cold, gets kind of upset if asked about her real family, being patient

Other Stuff!:

    ·         Likes things that glow in the dark (stars, glow sticks, animals with bioluminescence, etc)

    ·         Afraid of the dark

    ·         like loud peppy music

    ·         likes to wear sunglasses/random headgear. Says it's to look “cool” but it's for her eye protection

    ·         Prefers warmer weather

Cutie Mark: Basically put, her cutie mark is about overcoming her fears. She still has a ways to go, but with the help of those she loves she can learn to handle it.

Why I'd like her?? ( xD Not really part of the bio, but might as well):

Wellll, I'm in love with her design first of all. Secondly, I've been looking for a way to expand on a few of my pony characters, mainly Dark Galaxy. Seeing as the two are both space/star themed and quite opposite in personality, I really think they'd do well as unlikely sisters/best friends forever. Anyway, Clarity would be extremely helpful in developing Galaxy's character and history a bit more. x)

To expand on that, I've also got another character, Lady Benevolence (Lady B), who would be also be developed because of their weird relationship xD Fade/Glow contrasts with Lady B’s rather serious lady-like personality. Glow is more “ rough and tumble “ much to Lady B’s obvious dismay. Glow seems to get a kick out of annoying her. Lady B keeps trying to train her to be polite and more calm, but it doesn’t seem to be working yet x)

Even more stuff: Glow’s lights are not fully functional (owing to the fact that Lady B was not an experienced magic caster. As such, the lights will flicker and sometimes go out for long periods of time, which leads to panic is poor Glow. Often times she freaks out and will fly into things.

This is literally how she meets Dark Galaxy….

no, I still don't have a new tablet..xD BUT I got my old one to work long enough to do a few tablet doodles and THIS x3 Which I am SUPER proud of..even though it's really tiny haha..

There will be more to come, and they won't be this small x'3 This is kind of a preview for my real entry xD
