Since I've gotten my Rayman trophy, I wanted to make great use of it. Here's something that I've been working on in Paint Mode for the past couple of days. It took me long enough with all of the details, but it's finally finished!The way I see it, Rayman's inclusion in Smash Bros. as a trophy is taking things one step at a time before he can actually becomes playable, and I hope that becomes a reality real soon.
Funny thing is that I see this to be an improved remake of an old Miiverse drawing that I've done a year ago:
At least in Paint Mode you can continue where you've last left off, rather than just drawing it in one full exhausting setting.
I plan to do more Rayman related content in Smash Bros soon.

Is it THAT hard to make five separate models for him? His moveset from Origins and Legends is worthy. He can have goddamn Dark Rayman as a skin, for Christ's sake!
The amiibo would be difficult, but hey. Plastic poles are good in my book.

Firstly, thanks for your feedback on my attitude. I'm working on trying to be funnier.
Secondly, I was inspired by a comic simply called "What if Rayman was in Smash, and what would his amiibo look?", which they used a lot of blue plastic.

Now that is seriously awesome! Great work with this! Looks just like an official character announcement too! The arrangement of the trophy, the background, and the text, it all looks grest! "Battles with the legends" is perfect too! Here's to this becoming a reality soon too!

Thanks! The use of references and the amount of detail put into this really paid off. It really does look like the real thing when seeing this. I already have a bunch of people commenting here saying that it's almost like the real deal. Let's hope that the real thing DOES happen one day, even if it's different from mine. But if it does end up being similar to this, I think I'll might faint from utter shock and happiness....

Thanks! Yeah, those words are pretty fitting with the double meaning (Rayman Legends, and Rayman fighting with Mario, Sonic, Pac Man, and Mega Man). Personally, I'd be surprised if they ever make Rayman actually playable, they say something close to these words, if not exactly the same.

Oh well, even Sonic Boom got an update yesterday (two whole months after its release, it barely fixed anything but that's not the point XD).

Don't forget, Mario Kart 8 got the surprise DLC with Link and Animal Crossing, and it was revealed on the day they released the Mercedes Free DLC, which was a few months after the game came out. So we might haven something like that announced for Smash Bros when the Mewtwo DLC comes out for Club Nintendo in March.

Who knows, maybe they'll surprise us again. I wouldn't count on it though, don't get your hopes up too high.Β
They actually made it worse in some way: the Knuckles infinite jump glitch is removed. That was the only fun thing about that game XD
I also heard some new glitches were added thanks to the update. Oh boy...
But indeed, the glitches were the least of Sonic Booms problems. Fixing the game is probably impossible.

I know. Even so, I won't give up trying to get the message to both Nintendo and Ubisoft about this.
There are plenty of things that are impossible to fix by now, such as the deep and expansive story that was promised, bigger hub worlds, making Shadow less of a dick than he is now, and pretty much anything they promised us but was never realized in the final version. That, and SEGA firing most of the BRB staff months before the game was finished.
