Drawn by the uber-talented PervertFuel , here we have my third OC, manager of the Sleeping Mutt café and Abby's boss, Raine!

The intention with her was one part form and one part function: she represents a number of things I find attractive, as such an OC would, but she also fills out a role for the sake of the story in giving someone Abby can rely upon, both for employment and as an ear for when things go bad for her. She and The Mutt get mentioned on and off a few times, but she appears properly in Afternoons and Coffeespoons going through a typical shift, which I think encapsulates her pretty well: slickly professional but in a comforting way. And that's why I figured it'd be important to depict both her primary "looks" with one as a barista and the other in casual streetwear. Raine is able to be comfy wherever she goes
