Ruststar! -Long snouted black and red she-cat with blue eyes. |Thorns grow out of torso.|
Resident in StarClan, former PineClan Leader.

-Ruststar, the leader before Flowerstar. She was known for her fierceness and strictness, and easily could have been thought to be a LightClan cat just more sophisticated, but of course the dead giveaway would be the thorns growing from her torso.
The thorns while being great at shielding others from attack near her chest, they also aren't the nicest to have either as they can cut her as well. The thorns themselves don't grown into her, but if she moves in a way that causes her body to touch the thorns, it can prickle, and has caused a lot of smaller scarring over time. She does use Moss padding to help where it's the worst though, as before she had a hard time moving her legs due to it.
Ruststar is mother to a cat named Robinstream, and while Ruststar makes for a great leader, she wasn't the best mother. She split up Robinstream and their mate who was from another clan due to it breaking the code, and heavily punished Robinstream for it. The cat from the other clan even came and asked to join so he could be with them, but Ruststar refused his and Robinstream's plea and caused the guy to become a loner due to having left his old clan...
Despite not having been the best mother to her own though, she did end up sacrificing herself to protect another expecting queen, which ended with a kit being named after her.
