I put a lot more effort into this than I probably should have whoopsOriginally I was just going to see if I could get Genji to fit into the mech at all, just for shits and giggles... but then I added a stage... and then I added effects... and then I started caring a lot... and then suddenly lo and behold this emerged thanks to my tired brain! Voilà!
Also in case it's not completely obvious I made this in MMD so yEAH it's time to credit/list everything wooOOoo

See, it's even better because if the mech is destroyed it just becomes regular Genji gameplay. I don't know how he would fit the sword in there though......... I'm sure he figured it out. Ninjas are clever, resourceful little scrubbies.

Yep, I know! In fact I downloaded her before making this picture. (I'd been eagerly awaiting the DL but hadn't checked since the end of last month haha) I just wanted to play around with Genji a little, and he wouldn't really fit in the other mech 
Actually since we're on the topic, there's an oddity in the windshield of the mech I'm encountering (which is actually another reason I decided to use the other one) that I thought I should mention. It's transparent in that it shows the inside of the cockpit, but not anything I put in it, so you wouldn't be able to see anyone piloting it. (I can give you a screenshot to show you what I mean, if you'd like.) Am I missing a step or...?

All you need to do is load the person you want to put in the Mech first. Or you go to the Background tab, and the model draw order, and put the person on the top of the list. That's how transparencies work in MMD unfortunately.
