Goliath is one of those figures who creates one of three reactions in those who first observe him: fear, loathing, or respect. In this case, Goliath seems to be commanding a great deal of respect, if only because his posture and body language suggests that it would be very foolish indeed for anyone to mess with him at the moment. The glowing eyes, angry brow and down-turned grimace are clear indicators that A), he woke up on the wrong side of the parapet, or B), someone is about to have their butt put in a sling. Either way, "Wise are those who are wary of the big Gargoyle with bright eyes." The composition and facial features are very compelling, and the coloring is very accurate. The lines are not flat or sterile, which indicates both movement, lighting and mood. All around, and very nice job, Ms. Hong.
