Well, SC thought, this certainly was different.

At the start it was routine. The tracking chip embedded in Lucy's skull went off, signaling she had gotten herself in another fine mess. And when he got that signal, he set out to rescue her. It completely interrupted his plans for macroversal conquest, but it certainly gave him something to do. It went off every other day, if not more often.

He arrived at the old warehouse the signal was coming from. Heading inside, he quickly found her tied to a chair. As easy as usual.

Then he found something wrong. She was unconscious.

A blow came to the back of his head and he was quickly the same.

It took a while for him to come to. The first thing he noticed was that no green text was floating in the air before him; his Cell Shades had been removed. Next thing was that he was upside down and his head was hurting from the blood rushing to it. Third was that he was tied up. Fourth, someone else was tied up against his back, which he suspected was the person he was trying to rescue.

Fifth, and the most disturbing part, their captor had crossed their arms across so that her hands were lying on his stomach and his hands were cupping her chest.

He was thinking how different this was from usual when he heard an evil laugh and looked down (up?) to see the source.

Zoe's getting better at this, he thought then.

Finally, a stand-alone picture gift for =GreaterLimits , even though it has its own story.

It's certainly been a while since I've done any hand-drawing, at least outside my Art 103 sketchbook. Personally, I blame my troubles scanning images with my new lappy, since I can't find the same scanning software I had before, alongside my general laziness.

If you're wondering about the tails, I again forgot to draw them before I started coloring, so you can barely see them behind our two captives as a result of my trying to be cheap about it.
