Really, I thought that it was more sad in the anime than in the manga, but I don't really like Light all that much, no offense or anything if you do. I felt sorry for Matsuda, because he always trusted Light.

Yeah, I didn't feel too sorry for him at the end. He had killed off sooooooo many of the awesome characters (L, Mello, Matt, Watari) he kinda deserved to die.
