Yeah, I know it's late but I really wanted to draw something for Spirit Day. When I was thinking about what to draw and I thought about how people had lost their lives to bullying, I thought of my character Ella who had been mentally and physically abused all her life. No, she is not homosexual but that doesn't mean that abuse and neglect are less important.

I support people in their ways and how they act is up to them. It's not people are gay so they can get bullied, it's not a choice, not really. I am proud of people who are open about it. And I am proud of all the people who kept fighting even when dying felt like the easy way out.

Just a note, Ella is not wearing those bandages as a fashion statement. Her smile and the love of her new found friends makes her strong.
