Today, for my new Kamen Rider artwork, I have a design of my favorite Rider of the Showa Era. Right here, we have a design of the Child of the Sun, Kamen Rider Black RX himself. He always stood out to me ever since I first saw him in Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs Dai-Shocker. I mean both for the kind of Rider that he was and his weaponry. I was completely taken in when I saw that his Revolcane was like a lightsaber. When I finally got my hands on the DVD set of the series, I just had to watch it. Now, I have a clearer understanding of the Rider. This one was a bit easier to do, given that some of the Showa Rider designs are more simplistic than Heisei and Reiwa Riders. I was contemplating on giving the Revolcane its lightsaber glow, but decided against it. I like it better when it looks like this, though I could change it down the road if I do another design of him. Still, he turned out just how I wanted him, and I love it. What do you think?
