For my new Power Rangers art for this week, since I will be posting on Valentine's Day and skipping next Saturday's art, I decided to show off a redone piece that I had lost back in 2021. Fitting for the Year of the Dragon that will start next week, I did a complete redo of Nick Russell, Red Mystic Ranger, in his Battlizer as the Red Dragon Fire Ranger. My last attempt was not all that desired when I looked back on it, and I decided to redo it. However, I am a fan of the fact that my favorite Power Rangers music artist on YouTube, Ruki X Music, used the helmet design for his theme for this form. This redo design utilizes one old weapon and a new weapon. The old weapon is a redo of the Phoenix Shield that I did, which started me doing the Mystic Light Shields. The new weapon is what I call the Fireheart Dragon Saber, which uses the handle of his specialized Magi Staff Sword, the dragon head from his Fierce Dragon Morpher, and the blade from a figure of the Battlizer, seen here . More will go into those, as well as the redone helmet, when I show off the leftover pieces later on in the week. As for the redo design, this one was one that took me a while to do due to how complex it was, even more than the Triassic Battlizer and the SPD Battlizer designs. Plus, it was using a better pose of the form than how I had it the first time. I quite like this one better, especially since it shows more of the body than my original version did.
