AS a pure PC gamer, I actually had no idea what Animal Crossing even is up to this point. I am a huge fan of Doom though so I actually discovered it because of all the memes and crossovers with Doom Eternal and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I even found out there is a mod for the original Doom which actually put's Isabelle into the game as a companion for Doomguy. She runs around and digs up goodies for you or throws pots at demons or she of course whips up the good old shotgun and helps you more directly in dealing with the demon spawn.
I don't plan to get Nintendo Switch any time soon but thanks to that Isabelle mod, I can have at least some taste of the relaxing nature which she brings into my Doom carnage.
